Class Descriptions
1. Rhythm is Our Business - One of the most important elements of Lindy Hop is rhythm. In this class we will explore and develop the rhythm of the dance, as well as incorporate the technique that drives allows us to express the music with dance with our partner. Oh yeah, and there will probably be some cool moves too.
2. I've Got a Date With Rhythm - Like a really good first date, this class will focus on the chemistry needed between partners that allows them to express themselves and actively listen. We'll be taking interesting and fun rhythm variations and using them to communicate with our partners. When this class is over, there will be no question whether or not he'll call again.
3. Kickin' the Cat - Charleston. Why? Because it's awesome. And necessary. But mostly awesome. Charleston is a great way to improve your balance, speed, and agility allowing you to be a more fun and expressive dancer. Need we say more? AWESOME. (Also, no cats were harmed in the titling of this class. It's the name of a song. Seriously, it's by Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang. Go look it up if you don't believe me.)
4. Dance of the Gremlins - In this class Jason and Jenna will each take one of their favorite moves that they stole from a famous youtube clip and break it down for you. Those internet gremlins won't be hiding their moves for long!
5. Step Up and Go - Have you ever wanted to dance fast? Well, here you go. fast dancing to end the day. Let's get it done.
