St. Olaf College would like to invite you to the annual St. Olaf Lindy Fest, a fantastic weekend of dancing and workshops from February 19-21st, 2010. On Saturday, we offer a series of classes on the lindy hop, shag, and solo dancing taught by nationally-renowned instructors, including Peter Strom and Naomi Uyama, Mike Roberts and Laura Glaess, Shannon and Bill Butler, and Adam Boehmer. Advanced classes for a smaller group will occur on Sunday afternoon, admission limited. A detailed Saturday schedule and more info about the Sunday classes will be posted on our website, http://www.stolaf.edu/orgs/swingclub, which will be updated for this year's event ASAP.

Meet some new faces at our welcome dance on Friday night, then try out your new skills at the Saturday night dance. Both dances feature live music by the St. Olaf Jazz Bands and the Twin Cities Hot Swing Combo.

Registration forms are attached below, and space is limited. Register now to take advantage of the early-bird price of $45 for students, and $55 for non-students. Prices increase on January 30th For further information on partial-attendance pricing, check our website. St. Olaf is providing free housing for all out-of-towners who would like accommodations. Just let us know that you'd like to stay with a student by filling out a housing request, also attached. We are located in Northfield, MN, about 40 minutes south of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
