7:30 p.m. From Connection to Musicality
Instructors: Tracey Cadkin and Jon Jacobs
Prereq: Intro to Lindy Hop
Tired of doing the same old swingout? Want to stop just doing moves and really start dancing? Then this class is for you! We will learn how to use connection between partners as the basis for developing creativity in our dancing. We'll integrate musicality and learn moves that work with your style. Expect to work hard and get pushed outside your comfort zone in a fun and relaxed way.
8:30 p.m. Intro to Lindy Hop

Lindy Hop was born amid the creativity and awakening of the Harlem Renaissance. This class will introduce you to the foundations of this exciting dance. Starting with the basic swingout, this class will introduce you to common turns and movement in an effort to make you comfortable in a social dance setting.
Registration is $25/person, payable at the door, and includes all four classes in a session. Partners are not required, as we will be rotating throughout the class. All classes are held in The Overture Center, 201 State St. Please check the screens at The Overture for room location each week.
